About the Event
Cine Fest, a part of CENNOVATION 2024, is a filmmaking competition aimed at showcasing the creativity of Bangladeshi filmmakers. Based on the theme “Through My Lens: Transportation Systems, Environment, and People of Bangladesh,” participants are encouraged to explore real-life issues related to transportation and its impact on society and the environment. The event is open to students, freelancers, and independent creators, allowing individual or team submissions (up to four members), with one film per team.<br /> <br /> Films must not exceed 8 minutes and must include a clear topic, supporting evidence (such as interviews or real footage), and a meaningful conclusion. Selected entries will be featured on CENNOVATION’s official Facebook page, where audience engagement contributes to judging, and winners will be screened at the IUT auditorium.<br /> <br /> Evaluation is based on content quality, creativity, originality, technical excellence, and engagement. Strict rules ensure ethical content, originality, and fair participation throughout the competition.
